Bow Crochet Headband

So here are a couple bow crochet headbands that I made recently. Decided I wanted a change from the usual flower headbands that I make. I got the idea from this website which has a detailed tutorial and pattern with pictures. http://peoplewebs.blogspot.com/2010/11/bow-headband-tutorial.html I really like them and have gotten quite a few compliments on them. I used an I 5.5mm crochet hook and Vanna's Choice yarn. Again the link has a detailed pattern but here is the just of it.
To start with loosely chain 71 (I have a tendency to crochet too tight and the first one I made did not look right because of crocheting too tight.)
Row 1  sc crochet into second ch from hook and sc in each ch across (70 sc)
Row 2 ch 1 and turn sc into first sc from previous row, and in each across (70 sc)
Then repeat Row two until desired width. Mine is about 4 inches.
 For the Bow

Bow is worked back and forth in joined rows, not in the round, so at the end of each row, you will join the last sc to the first sc with a sl st, and then turn around and go back the way you came for the next row.
Ch 30, and join to first chain with a slip stitch to form a circle
Row 1: ch 1, turn and sc into each ch (30 sc), slip stitch into 1st sc to join
Row 2: ch 1, turn, and sc into slip stich just made, and in next 29 scs from previous row. (30 scs) and sl st to 1st sc to join.
Then repeat row two until desired size, mine is about 3 inches.
For the middle,
 Ch 4,
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, and each ch across. (3 sc)
Row 2: ch 1, turn, and sc in each sc from previous row. (3 sc)
Repeat row two until middle is 4 inches long (this is according to the link I posted, I found it to be a bit long and shortened it a little.)
Place bow and middle on top of headband where you want it to sit, tighten the middle around the bow and headband, and sew ends of middle together. (I did not have the needle and thread on hand so just used yarn and crochet hook to connect). Sew too small buttons on one end placed where desired and it can fit a pretty good range of sizes because it just buttons into the natural crochet holes not specifically designated ones. Again though check out the link I posted to get a better idea of it, she posted pictures for each step. I don't mind paying for patterns but am very thankful for free ones!
